A measured building survey was carried out at Gloucestershire Airport (formerly Staverton) using a Faro 3D laser scanning system. It was an interesting project due to the diverse range of vehicles & facilities, including a jet-engine testing site, an aircraft paint shop, a vintage car collector’s warehouse & even a refueling visit by an Apache Gunship. The survey brief included detailed floorplans of almost all the hangars & buildings on-site.
